More than 100,000 people in the U.S. have died of COVID-19. Here's how that compares with other deadly events in U.S. history:

Employees of the Jay Chapel Funeral Home in Madera, Calif., transport the body of Wanda DeSelle, 76, to a grave site. Family members had to remain in their cars during the burial on April 8.

A nurse covers an emergency room patient with a blanket at San Jose Regional Medical Center on May 21. Santa Clara County, where the medical center is located, had the earliest known COVID-19 deaths in the United States. Flags, wreaths and notes adorn the grounds of the Holyoke Soldiers Home in Holyoke, Mass., on April 28.

More than 100,000 people in the U.S. have died WITH coronavirus. Saying 'More than 100,000 people in the U.S. have died of COVID19' is LYING!

PuffDomino You forgot a REALLY RELEVANT element, which is how long it took to reach that death toll.

One death is too many. However, after this crises is behind us, these numbers will be adjusted down. Why? The loose COVID case definitions will be replaced with a narrower true cause and effect Covid case definition.

Did see this China over 100,000 deaths!

Can't wait how you spin this one

Before coronavirus people die every day of stupid bacterias and virus like malaria tuberculosis and no one cares because this cases are far far away in the called shit holes countries.🤔. And even in west people are CROCKS that dont care about spread it They only think in them

In Brazil's shadow, laid-back Uruguay curbs COVID-19Leonardo Silveira, a bookstore owner in Montevideo, is hopeful about the future as Uruguay begins a gradual reopening. The small country has kept rates of COVID-19 at one of the lowest levels in Latin America, even as the region becomes a coronavirus epicenter. You are so biased against the current Brazilian government that you feel the need to say the Brazil word in a negative way even in a post about Uruguay. Ridiculous leftist agenda. Roll the herb and get day started 😷 Good for Uruguay but you just can't compare a 3.5 million people country to one like Brazil... São Paulo Guarulhos airport alone i'm sure received way too many infected people and their president's crazy too which doesn't help like the one we have in Mexico
