Modern Android phones are awesome, but they are greedy. My Samsung Fold 4 can do pretty much anything I need in a compact package, but it sucks down juice like a technology journalist at an open bar. Enable dark modeModern OLED smartphone screens use more power when white because the backlight is only turned on when needed. You can save a bit of power by enabling Dark Mode, which turns the screen’s background black.
