“I just feel grateful to be in this spot and to be able to be on the float. And I just think it’s something that is extremely special, and I feel blessed to be here,” said Miguel Romero, a Churchill High School senior. “Every four years, they rotate in so that hopefully all their bands, all their cheerleaders, all their spirit groups, and student council can participate at least for one year while they’re in high school,” Bishop said.
