On a similar note, Dimple's growth throughout the series makes him one of the series' most unpredictable characters.

Mob Psycho 100 director Yuzuru Tachikawa has also directed episodes for Bleach, Death Parade, and Kiba. 4 Mob Psycho 100's Fights Are Beyond Epic The Series Understands That Emotional Stakes Are What Matters Most Fights are a staple of shonen anime, and few series do them better than Mob Psycho 100. More than just epic beatdowns, the fights in Mob feature emotional stakes that make each battle mean a great deal for the characters even just beyond any given fight's plot significance.

At its best, Kawai's work on Mob Psycho 100 feels suitably otherworldly. The track Explosion of Mob's Emotions in particular is a standout as it truly captures the terrifying and almost alien nature of Mob when he's in his ??? state. There are parts where it truly sounds like a ghostly wail in the best way possible, conveying the horrific levels of power Mob wields within him.
