Ten people suffered injuries ranging from what state police characterized as minor to moderate. They were taken to area hospitals for treatment. The crash occurred at about 2 p.m. Saturday in the Route 581 eastbound lanes at mile marker 7.1 in Lower Allen Township. The westbound lanes reopened around 5:30 p.m., and theState police were assisted at the scene by PennDOT and multiple fire, EMS and tow agencies.
