Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Peanuts offered slice of life tales of its young protagonists, including many relatable comics about food. With a character who is as major a foodie as Snoopy – and a cast of kids with hearty appetites – there were, of course, numerous food centered Peanuts strips. From junk food to dog food, Peanuts covered all the culinary bases during its run in syndication.

10 "Don't Interfere With My Food-Life!" First Published: 1961 Snoopy definitely does not take kindly to his "food-life" being mentioned, as he appears ready to fight a little girl if she keeps pushing the issue of limiting his food. Sports and loyalty are among Peppermint Patty's strong suits. School, on the other hand, is a very different story. A running gag in Peanuts finds Peppermint Patty struggling to come up with the correct answer, and often any answer at all, when she is called on in class. Here, she comes up with a unique, though not super realistic solution, in this comic.

Rather than be concerned about Linus or ask if he is alright, Snoopy instead decides to take the moment to make a comment about how hard it is to find good help. Exhibiting some diva behavior, the beagle cares more about his root beer being damaged than poor Linus. However, as much as Snoopy loves root beer, his care for the soft drink over his own friend is not all that shocking.

Related Peanuts' Football Gag Was Never Meant to Star Lucy - She Stole It From The football gag has become one of the most iconic running gags in Peanuts history, but it turns out Lucy was not always the star of the joke. The Peanuts characters appeared in numerous television specials, including 2015's The Peanuts Movie, available to watch on Disney+.

So accustomed to having Charlie Brown, or others, make his food, Snoopy is at a loss the moment the box of supplies is handed to him. While Snoopy may be uneasy about having to make his own food, at least Charlie Brown didn't send Linus to feed him a bowl of marshmallows again.
