With old Doctors and companions returning for Tales of the TARDIS, other pairings could come back for the Doctor Who spinoff in future episodes.

Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Tales of the TARDIS opens a whole new universe of Doctor Who, with many tantalizing pairings now possible should future episodes happen. In preparation for Doctor Who's 60th anniversary special, the BBC has released Tales Of The TARDIS.

9 Martha Jones & The Master Freema Agyeman & John Simm Close John Simm's Master was the first incarnation of Doctor Who's famous antagonist to be featured in its modern era. Doctor Who season 3 saw the Master become the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and launch a hunt for Martha Jones, who was walking the Earth to try and reverse the damage he caused to the planet.

8 Luke Smith & Rani Chandra Tommy Knight & Anjli Mohindra With Clyde Langer returning for Tales Of The TARDIS, other The Sarah Jane Adventures characters could also make their comebacks. Clyde aside, The Sarah Jane Adventures also followed Sarah Jane's son, Luke, and Rani as the quartet protected Earth from the confines of Sarah Jane's attic.

5 The Eighth Doctor & Grace Holloway Daphne Ashbrook & Paul McGann Grace Holloway remains the first and only onscreen companion of the Eighth Doctor, and was somewhat responsible for the Seventh Doctor's regeneration. The only adventure these two characters could recall would be of the Doctor Who TV movie from 1996, but with the appearance of the Tremas Master, there would certainly be plenty to discuss.
