are still not with us, but the Snyder cut of Justice League is, with a new chiaroscuro look, new backstories, new minor characters and a new, disturbing ending.
I’m a geek, I was not pleased.
I’m relatively new to Zack Snyder’s films, and as a fantasy/sci-fi lover have found much to enjoy so look forward to this film. Re Henry Cavill, I’ve genuinely liked his portrayal of Superman, esp. in Man of Steel where he soared just fine. For a more thoughtful review see below
This is a genuinely awful review. Most of it is taken up describing the cast. Where is the insight, the analysis? What does this version give us that the theatrical doesn't? Very lazy.
This coming from the guy that said ‘Only god forgives’ was a masterpiece. That was truly the worst film ever made.
This rating purely exists for clicks. ...if I was to guess.
I think Henry Cavill shines as an actor when given a chance but sometimes I think his only direction for Superman was 'look dour'.
