A Yorkshire rat-catcher says he and his daughter have been receiving death threats from hunting saboteurs.
Kieran’s service includes 24-hour emergency call outs which requires him to make his phone number public. He’s said this has resulted in a lot of abusive messages. He says he’s more at risk than other members as his business address is available for all to see. Kieran says he has a love for animals and respects rats. He is fascinated by them as they have a high level of intelligence compared the rest of the animal kingdom. When he carries out his job of catching them, his aim is to merely control the population, rather than eliminate it, and to kill them as quickly and humanely as possible.
