If there’s one thing everyone agrees on when it comes to Jeremy Corbyn, it is that he is a divisive figure. Jo Swinson has said she cannot back him in a temporary arrangement to stop no deal because Corbyn is too “divisive” to get the support of Conservatives. On Sunday the Observer, in backing Corbyn’s play, still referred to him as “careless of division and widely distrusted”. Dominic Grieve, in a cautious not-quite-rejection of the plan, referred to Corbyn as a “deeply divisive figure”.
Division maybe, hard-core left wing extremists and Socialists no.
Are these people mad, who on earth wants even more division apart from nutters at the nigh bankrupt Guardian. Absolutely Crackers.
Yes, Jeremy Corbyn is a racist. But racism is just what our broken politics needs - Phill McRacist
No it isn’t..... besides he’s as much a self serving prat as any of them..... with a heavy extra portion of patronising tone to go with it 😡
Divisiveness You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. Winston Churchill
He's part of the problem you fools.
Adversarial politics versus cooperative politics is working so well
The FALLACY. CORBYN has been and is the MOST consistent politician. His record is there. Ingenious to expect him to unite people on a once in a history ISSUE, as divisive as BREXIT.
graham_budden Agreed.
Jeremy Corbyn is disgusting antisemite and Bolshevik
The division over Corbyn is between those who think he's a lazy racist journeyman politician out of his depth leading a major party and therefore unable to challenge the status quo, and his cult members (like the author) who think he farts magic unicorn tears
what a statement from Guardian.... you cant be more communist than this...
He's a vicious antisemite. That's why you love him, just like you love the duo of Tlaib and Omar.
This is a really poor argument. Jeremy Corbyn’s problem is not that he’s divisive, it’s that he wants people to put him in charge of preventing something that he very much wants.
Yes, Jeremy Corbyn is an incompetent political dinosaur but incompetent dinosaurs are what our broken politics needs
Like BorisJohnson is not divisive, nor Thatcher.🙄Payback time for that lot. Go Jezza! jeremycorbyn
Magic Grandpa, Abacus Abbot and Stalinist McDonnell what more could anyone want? 😂😂
Nope. AntiSemites like Jeremy are never, ever, needed. SHITHOLEUK
What a shit article about the leader of the Great anti-Semite Party by this leftist rag!!
Divides people into those who think he's useless, and those who think he's useless and a racist
Worst. Take. Ever
Jeremy Corbyn isn't divisive. Media coverage of him is ridiculous and is intended to divide the support he would otherwise accrue from his advocacy of policies that benefit working people.
Yes, Jeremy Corbyn is divisive. But division is just what our divided country needs …
let's break our politics into FIFTY little pieces and see if they can work it out amongst them. for the many, not the few.
Many Labor supporters will not vote Labor while Corbyn is leader. Change leaders or lose the next election.
No it isn’t. We need a centre as well as left and right wing, and whilst we’ve got enough people talking like dictators- Corbyn merely dithers. The job is beyond his capabilities.
Are you ready for Bolshevism and expropriations, kids?😄
We don't need communism, thanks.
