World leaders to hold aid summit for Beirut

, with police firing tear gas at stone-throwing protesters and some demonstrators storming government ministries.

Lebanon was already mired in a deep economic crisis and struggling to tackle the coronavirus pandemic before the explosion tore through Beirut. Representatives from European Union member states, China, Russia, Egypt, Jordan and the UK will all take part, with many others invited to attend.

Oh yes, fire tear gas at already traumatised people! Where are the brains and compassion?

Here we go. Britain to give aid to people that hate Britain. All British aid should stop.

The UK has enough to deal with without giving money to Beirut. It’s a war torn country we need nothing to do with.
