It's the news that around half the population have been arguing for decades, and now a new study has finally proven it to be true: women are better drivers than men.
The research was carried out by the University of Westminster by analysing police and traffic statistics as well as figures from the National Travel Survey and Office for National Statistics. The study also analysed data that showed that male lorry drivers caused four times the amount of fatalities as female ones, and that male bikers cause ten times more deaths than women.
Motorbikes are also rather dangerous, with the study finding that with each mile driven there are 2.5 more deaths than with each mile driven in a car.
