Woman orders Xbox controller from Amazon and gets deadly cobra instead

Buy an Xbox controller, get a free snake A woman got a big surprise when she opened what she thought was just an Xbox gamepad from Amazon, but was actually a spectacled cobra. If someone uses the words video games and snake in the same sentence, they’re probably talking about Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series, but in this case the story involves a highly venomous snake in an Amazon delivery box.

‘Amazon’s customer support put us on hold for over two hours, forcing us to handle the situation all by ourselves in the middle of the night,’ Tanvi said in a separate Reddit post about the nightmarish experience. ‘We did receive a complete refund, but what do we get for risking our lives here with a highly venomous snake? ‘This is clearly a safety breach caused solely by Amazon’s negligence and their poor transportation/warehousing hygiene and supervision.
