A young woman travelling alone at night was told she wouldn’t be allowed to get on a bus because her fried chicken would ‘stink it out’.LondonGrace, 23, said she was worried about her safety on the 40-minute journey home to Bermondsey after midnight on April 12.
The row was captured on the double decker’s CCTV, showing the driver refusing to budge while Grace was onboard. Other passengers sided with her and told him to carry on with the journey.The company’s policy on eating on buses states food is only prohibited if it causes ‘offence’ or ‘upset’ to other passengers.
The driver bangs on the screen to get her attention as she walks on said: ‘Oi sweetheart, you can’t come on with that food.’Other passengers sided with customer assistant Grace and told him to carry on with the journey Grace replied: ‘What? When was that a rule?’ Grace – who had been visiting a friend at her house – went upstairs on the bus because she didn’t want the confrontation.

I saw a poor sod throw a 12' pizza at a bus driver. He later apologized. Apparently, he was supposed to meet up with his friends and none of them showed up so he tried to take his pizza home, and well.... the rest can probably be filled in. 12' Dominoes, not cheap. 🥺
