A man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap and causing grievous bodily harm without intent
A 38-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of kidnap after a woman in her 20s fell from a moving car. The victim was found lying on the side of a commercial road in Newbury, Berkshire on Wednesday night. She was rushed to hospital where it was confirmed she had suffered a fractured skull and a broken arm.He is also suspected of causing grievous bodily harm without intent and has been released on bail.
Thames Valley Police said they are ‘not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident and there’s no wider threat to the public’.DC Pete Brooks said: ‘If you have any CCTV footage in the area or any dash-cam footage if you were in the area around the time, I’d also ask that you check any recordings in case it has captured something that could assist our investigation.The independent charity, Crimestoppers, can also be contacted by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.
