A woman who sustained serious injuries following a collision involving a bus in a Derbyshire town has died. Derbyshire police were called to a collision involving a pedestrian and a bus in Chapel Street, Belper , on Tuesday, May 17.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, was taken to hospital following the incident, which left the busy stretch of the A6 closed for around five hours. She died on Wednesday and her family are aware police said. Investigations into the collision are ongoing and officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed it or has any dashcam footage.
