A WOMAN and child were rushed to hospital after being found injured in a south London home.

Police, paramedics and an air ambulance, were called to Monarch Parade in Mitcham at around 4pm on Tuesday.A crowd of people on Monarch Parade where emergency services were called to at around 4pmA Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called to an address on Monarch Parade in Mitcham at 4pm on Tuesday to a report of two people injured.

"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a woman and a child were inside a property suffering injuries. Condition awaits.A London Ambulance Service spokesperson added: "We were called today at 3.51pm to reports of an incident off London Road, Mitcham.
