A woman has been charged with attempted murder after two children were rushed to hospital following a suspected poisoning. The incident occurred in Uckfield, East Sussex, and the woman appeared in court on Saturday.

A woman has been charged with attempted murder after two children were rushed to hospital following a suspected poisoning. Jilumol George, 38, of Uckfield , East Sussex , appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

She is charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of administering poison with intent to endanger life or inflict grievous bodily harm. George was remanded in custody to appear at a crown court on March 8.
