The number of days that a person must self-isolate for after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19 could be reduced.
So, under these new proposed rules, if you have been in contact with someone who tests positive, your quarantine period would be seven days. And if you have merely been abroad, your quarantine period would be fourteen days. Oooh, naughty travellers!
