Widow broke both legs and DIED after 'rough' care worker swung her out of bed by her ankles

A TRAGIC 101-year-old widow died after a care worker swung her out of bed and broke both her legs, an inquest heard.

An inquest concluded that Emily's death came as a direct result of the actions of the care-worker at Antron Manor Care Home. She could be seen telling her niece that Mrs Allen had grabbed her by the ankles and swung her around leading her to fall off the bed.Mrs Handley took the footage to police who then conducted a bedside interview with Emily.The frail woman had also told paramedics: "It's that one there, she's too rough with me, she pulls me around."She claimed the 101-year-old had slipped to the floor after she sat her up in bed.
