Why they are wrong to have an opinion?
After seeing the final episode it becomes clear that number 8 used as a vehicle to introduce new talent to the franchise and in the process destroy Luke. It also becomes clear that Carrie Fisher dying, led to a piecemeal rewrite of ep 8. All of her footage was used in episode 9.

robbiereviews to me, this movie was half assed. the fact that they introduced new characters and story arcs at the expense of the plot shows the little creativity the writers used for this movie, which previously, star wars has been able to have both at one time.

robbiereviews You’re so wrong it’s painful. How can you say that TLJ shows more of an understanding of Star Wars than Lucas’ films. We had to spend 20 minutes watching Rose and Finn in a casino for no reason and killing the franchises main villain after such little screen time was ridiculous.
