Thousands of posters have appeared and the image has been beamed onto buildings

Cryptic posters of giant red question marks plastered across the UK and beamed onto the side of buildings have been leaving passersby baffled. The red punctuation has been spotted on the side of buildings since the start of the month without any explanation.

Onlookers were spotted filming the puzzling punctuation and stopping in their tracks to look up at the giant question marks. It's now been revealed as a promotional campaign from vodka and flavoured spirits brand Au Vodka to tease the release of a new flavour. Ben said: "The team has worked hard to build hype for our new summer flavour by covering the UK in question marks, and I think they've done a great job! I've loved walking past them and spotting people staring blankly as they try to realise what the question marks mean.
