Because there sick worthless people
Its no surprise. After all, society today is crumbling. Most people might scoff at my comment. Respect and trust has almost gone. We have no spiritual base any longer. Just the point of law, run by beurocrat minions. Not much for us all to aspire to morality is it!?
So they can send them into the press because they're too lazy to go themselves
Because they’re stupid and loves to share with everybody everything apart from money
Because it's more authentic than Pornhub.
Because they lack humanity ...they are the same people that probably watch kiddie porn.
They're evil
Ppl who take pictures of accidents will drive more careful in the future.
Unusual things always catch our attention. What if ppl just walked along and didn’t mind the accident? That would be heartless.
Human nature nothing else
If you had lost someone in a road traffic accident... believe me you would avert your eyes.... pictures .. unbelievable
Think it is also because of news agencies asking if you have any information regarding it email it to us. Or citizenjournalism a riding trend posting it on Facebook and social media as NewsToday.
Because they have to they are called the police
Sick bstards
Human morbid curiosity, like Victorian pictures of the dead.
I'm not sure, but a few years ago me and my family witnessed something fall off the multistory carpark, I looked down and there was a person on the floor dead in the bus station and people stood taking photos of it probably to post on Facebook or something 😨
Well the misses always wants to know what took so long to get back from work
Really BBC? More hypocrisy from you
Ask J G Ballard.
Because they have nothing better in their lives.
People take pictures of everything even their dinner 🥘
Because they are sad and got a camera on they phone .Put it on f/book or YouTube .SAD
Because people like you will put them on tv.
Isn't that what the world press do every day, and what happened when a Royal died in a crash in Paris.
Because life is dull and much too fucking safe.
Strange question, imagine 9/11 if nobody took pictures, the majority of footage, and the whole of the first impact and immediate aftermath was from the general public.
To post on social media of course
There is a universal obsession with taking mobile phone pics and video. It is something which I find distasteful. It feeds the media with things that would otherwise pass as un-newsworthy.
Doesn’t the BBC do the same thing?
Love death.
It's what news media does
They're inconsiderate scumbags, that's why - and the press encourages it
Same way the press does
Sick comes to mind
the media should Stop asking the public to send in their videos and pics then !!
It is the same delight at the gruesome as the crowds had flocking to a hanging!
So they can stick it on YouTube and hope they get 'liked' so it makes them more popular
Because they have a perverse fascination with the macabre
Maybe they don't care, maybe they want their 5 minutes of fame selling the images or footage to the media? Maybe they are just sick?
Because they’re sick, disrespectful a**holes
Likely to things. They are sick and also greedy. Stop media paying for the images and then treat those that take them for the illness they have.
So do scum journalists
The trauma of seeing a crash scene for survivors is totally off the scale. Please don't get your phone out at the mearest sign of an accident.
To put on social media
Morbid and perhaps they could sell photos.
You pay people to take pictures of crash scenes, how about you explain why?
Because people lack basic humanity these days. Not to mention being obsessed with their phones and feeling my the need to get validation on social media.
Why does the BBC want pensioners to pay for TV licences?
Because they have a morbid mind
You mean like the rats of the press?
Why does the media report it....
Who took the photo you are using for this article ? Because it’s sensationalism that sells, and get fuckwitts like me to then comment in said article that gets you more coverage.
A major bug bear of mine. Had this last year as we attended an injured pt waiting for paramedics. I asked the man to stop but he shrugged his shoulders and carried on 😩
Media pay for them!!!!!
Morbid fascination?
Because so much effort is put into isolating us from real life that when it hits us, it’s a shock. UK “train cancelled due to police incident”. France “train cancelled due to a body on the line”. I prefer France!
Probably because they want to be the first reporting it is it a good thing or bad idk
Because it’s different and that’s what we do now. A special meal, an odd shaped fruit, a huge bird in the garden, an accident we’ve seen, a celebrity in the street.
I don’t know. Why do you?
Weirdly ppl get to work being late so giving proof is pics.
I've seen the BBC asking for permission from ppl to use their pictures for live Twitter feeds. Probably like the above.
Following an accident where a woman was ran over & stuck under a lorry trailer last summer, the family & police were asking everybody with pictures or videos of the scene/accident to plz forward them to the family (they gave contact details) or the police to help with enquiries
Because of the constant need by the many online and print news outlets to use them! With outlets just trawling Twitter and Insta for images it's never been a better time to be a wannabe with an iphone camera for 5 mins of fame unfortunately. Better to help than snap.
Surely by taking pictures/photos of other people (without their consent) and their vehicles to 'share/sell' to others is a breach of the other persons data/security/ personal privacy...IT SHOULD BE A CRIMINAL OFFENCE
Because you ask for them and because they can🙄
Why do you publish them?
Because people like you will show them
Sometimes it must save laughing at them
You answer first...
Why do people crash? Photograph that shit driving!!
Morbid curiosity.
Why do you?
Because they’re stupid, simple
Because they are ghouls preying on the misery of others. Having no moral compass.
Because they are stupid and or morbid?
So the BBC can put them on their web page, stop asking for upload photos of incidents and it will stop.
Because they have a serious problem. Why would you photograph someone’s distress. Money probably the influence to be paid for a good picture.
The hypocrisy in this question is impressive
Ghouls
Because they want their 15 minutes of fame and hope by sending you the pics, they will get it!
Why does BBC?
Any possibility of making a bit of money by selling them to the press they should be prosecuted for it under the privacy and data protection act
Why do you do it?
Because BBC and other outlets want them!
Why do you print pictures of people taking pictures of crash scenes
Because they are .....
Because you request people to send pictures? Maybe.
...said BBC News publishing a photo of a crash scene.
Errr ... social media likes ....
You’re the worst at it!
Because they have become desensitised to tragedy. I recall when I was 7 in 74, it was Christmas eve and we were driving home. We came past the scene of a horrific crash. My mom tried to shield us but I looked. Only to see 5 bodies lying in the road. It has haunted me!
Because there’s money in it for them to sell to vipers like you lot cheers 🍷
Because they are idiots
Because the TV and Press companies pay a premium for gruesome and tragic images.
Because it’s a bit of sensationalism in their mundane little lives
Because they are sad people!
Ghouls
why do you publish them?
Why do photographers, hired by publications do it?
Because the media think it’s great to publish horrific photos and your photographers do it all the time and it’s filmed for the News. Also organisations likes yours pay for these. Now think again why people take photos of accidents.
Because organisations like yours publish them
Because they are inconsiderate ad hope they might make a big or two!!
Check out the movie nightcrawler, it’s big business in America, once on a ferry in America and light aircraft landed on the water,by time reached other side news outlets were asking for any pics we had caught, can also help with crash investigations
Because it's better than a memory w**k?
Ironic
A headline with a picture of a crash scene... You lot in the media encourage it
Because they're hoping they can make millions from other people's pain. It's my main theme in my Twitter Bio. It isn't just a tagline, it's 100% true. I prefer helping people over getting rich and that's no Beauty Pageant Cliche'
So the sad selfish bstards can say 'look, I was there...aren't I cool!' This type of people spend their lives watching death and destruction on Netflix so when it happens in real life, they're all over it like sugar on cornflakes. That's why.
Why do people only offer biased news reporting?
Morbid curiosity
Morbid curiosity!
Money
Only some crash scenes, Old Diana was it seems, chased by a dozen phtographers and not one picture! Weird.
yodaisblind wanting to see cctv of becca_davies incident 🤣🤣💀💀
Is this a brexit metaphor?
Asks the BBC who publishes a picture of a crash scene.
Because breaks up the day?
Because organisations like yours pay to publish them. And you have fewer reporters out getting news - you just put out what vested interest groups send you as press releases.
Evidence why they are late for work, again. m60
Why do the BBC?
Because people are bellends!
it's the absent hero theory
Because some of us have a morbid curiosity.
So they can pretend to be shocked. They’re like the crowds around a hanging, wailing their crocodile tears and shouting about how terrible it all is while punching and fighting for a better view. Mindless parasites, the lot of them.
Why do you cover car crashes as news? It's literally the exact same thing.
Is this a spoof - or am I alone in seeing the irony of the BBC asking that question over a picture of a crash scene? JustSaying
Because if their 5 mins late for an appointment with the DWP, they will be sanctioned and left to die on the streets hungry and cold.
For the same reason ghoulish bastards like BBC and SKY send crews to film them presumably
Retweets
So news sites like you can use them.
Because people are ghouls.
Idk I mean a garbage truck ran over a homeless man sleeping on a beach, then they loaded the body into the open truck bed of an F150 that got stymied in the sand and had to drive into the surf, almost floating away. If it set on fire it’d have been a Viking funeral.
Through a total lack of respect if not involved
Why do people have dash cams ?
