Those born between 20 January and 19 February often don’t know how to show that side of themselves to people

, Aquarius is an air sign. Air signs are big thinkers, and like to keep their minds occupied with reading, writing and stimulating conversations. They are able to view a situation from all different angles, and can easily think outside of the box to find the most logical solution.Aquarians like to march to the beat of their own drum. They’re always looking for variety in life, and they want to initiate change in the world, whether that be on a personal level or a grand scale.

Though they are often surrounded by people, Aquarians are certainly not crowd followers. They usually reject trends, because they like to set themselves apart from everyone else. Often they do things just for the sake of being different, and they usually thrive when their life has an element of unpredictability to it. When their schedule grows into too much of a routine, Aquarians might start to feel trapped, often losing the motivation to keep going.

However, Aquarians aren’t reckless with their need to feel free, and they know the value of hard work. Ruled by both Saturn and Uranus, they are able to blend their sense of responsibility with their unique spin on things. When it comes to their job though, it’s often better if they can be their own boss, since they don’t like someone else telling them what to do.

Aquarians are also skilled at bringing people together, and they have a wide network of acquaintances. Not a fan of cliques, they try to treat everyone as equals and usually bounce around from group to group. Though they are social creatures, they actually only have a few friends who are close to them. They can be a bit introverted sometimes, especially when they need space to decompress.

Aquarians tend to wind themselves up by constantly thinking about the future. Since their minds are always elsewhere, a big challenge for them is learning how to remain grounded in the present moment. Because they are so focused on what’s to come, others often consider them to be aloof or emotionless. It’s not that Aquarians don’t have emotions, they just don’t know how to show that side of themselves to people.
