Because so many resign after a few years in the classroom having realised the job is no longer a profession. Bad pay, pointless examinations, terrible working conditions in many schools because of under funding, equipment and staff shortages.

Young people are so skilled with technology nowadays that they are needed in every profession as leaders and teachers. Older teachers ask for advice from those who have high technology skills and those who don`t know how to use computer are fall outs on every field.

Is this in correlation with the intelligence level? A RE-teacher (32, female) asked me last year if Belgium (a neighboring country) was landlocked. 🤷🏻‍♂️

because the older ones realised what a hopeless system it is. The younger teachers last about five years until they wise up.

They got rid of most of the great old ones
