The government needs to do so much more than what it does now. Heartbreaking to see so many people sleeping on the street, especially when it’s literally freezing outside.

nooouch because cabbage leaves that pass for newspapers - just like this one, only slightly more vulgar - are in the pocket of people who JUST DO NOT GIVE A FLYING. GTTO JC4PMyesterday EndAusterity

Because they are not women. If women would die on streets would be scandal.

Probably the drugs

Everyone replies that it's 'the Tories' no one checks to see that the same is happening in Germany and other places. This seems to be a more than just a local issue.

Addiction and bad choices.

My guess, 10DowningStreet, is that it provides business with the lowest cost, involves no commitment by the state and suits government supporters to let it happen. And she says she went to a Grammar School like it’s she’s been educated...

Because they huff paint thinner.

Because of the capitalism, it's obvious!

Not enough social housing?

False god police and their worshippers are sadists who mock homeless and impoverished folks by giving them everything except a way to earn daily income that they can use to buy their own food and afford their own overnight accommodations.

Life isn't fair, but behind every story there is probably a string of bad decisions, drugs, alcohol, domestic violence and mental health issues.

Because the UK has failed as a nation? That would be my guess.

What a silly question, as long as Theresa May and her henchmen are ruling (i.e. ruining) your country. What do you expect if someone cuts all the costs for social and medical services and no affordable home is available for most of your people.

Because they are homeless?

Normal people don’t become homeless. Homelessness is a symptom of mental illness usually coupled with serious health issues. No one has come up with a good solution for homelessness.

Not just in the UK

Cause they are poor, on the streets, nobody cares, is there any other reason? A successful nation is not measured in how much its gdp is, but in how much poor are.

Because they can’t afford a passport, numbnutz

Tory policies. Thats the main reason.

Homeless in such a well developed n advanced country which is looked at as a model of modern society? Pl look at it again! May be there is another reason for such unfortunate loss of precious lives!

A more appropriate question: Why in 2019 is homelessness even still such an issue in the UK?

Do house dwellers not die? Big if true...

Exposure?

Why do houses stay outside ? Hmmm,.....🤔🙄🤦

Because it's cold.

Money paid for illegal immigrants

Were do you start from 1. We are going back to Victorian times were very few people care 2 government cuts not enough places for them to goto at night even charity's are struggling with donations now days has most people don't carry cash on them

So this might be a stretch, but they're dying because they don't have the basic necessities of life. A few boards, some drywall, toilet, shower, sink, a few windows and a roof.

Because UK is to expensive to live. And have to big gap between the rich and poor ones. Have no proper politics about equality and healthcare. U.K. is only for the rich people.

We are all dying; some faster than others.

Tories

Is any kind of ppl *not dying* in the UK anymore? 🤔

Tories

Home Office Windrush fund helped only one person by end of 2018UK government accused of ‘aggravating people’s suffering’ over immigration status I hope Britain treats Windrush better. FFS give over about bloody Windrush. Still waiting for someone prominent to call the Tories what they are: a party of xenophobes with a long history of being hostile to blacks, asians, catholics and Jews. And it will never change: it is Tory DNA.

What Corbyn's terms for backing May on Brexit really meanIt is far from clear whether Labour’s five demands for UK withdrawal are achievable They mean nothing. Nobody really cares about that anti-Semitic curmudgeon apart from a few feral commies. No brexit please. Can someone tell him ? they mean that he is still ignoring the views of the massive majority of his own party and a solid majority of the UK population. voters abhor a vacuum..I guess that explains why Labour is cratering in the polls. Maybe they could get a leader?

UK deportation flight greeted with suspicion in JamaicaStigma is less than before, say Jamaicans, but media coverage of arrival puts some on edge If there was only one sensible principle governing movement of people it must be this: if you offend you forfeit your right to remain. Given choice, few would accept a model of immigration without protection for citizens against foreign born criminals, nor should they have to.
