Amad Diallo was shown a second yellow card after scoring a dramatic winner at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's Amad Diallo was shown a red card after celebrating his last-minute winner against Liverpool in the FA Cup - but he won't be banned for the semi-final.

Amad scored the winning goal in the 121st minute of extra time, securing a 4-3 victory for Man Utd. He celebrated by taking off his shirt, forgetting he had already been booked for a foul just five minutes earlier. This led to him being shown a second yellow card by referee John Brooks. Despite struggling with injuries this season and only making his fourth appearance, the 21-year-old 's dismissal won't stop him from playing against Coventry City at Wembley next month.

He will serve a one-match suspension for the red card, but according to FA Cup rules, it will be served in the next domestic fixture. United's next match is against Brentford in the English Premier League on Saturday, March 30 while the semi-final isn't until the weekend of April 20 and 21. After being sent off before the full-time whistle, Amad, who impressed on loan with Sunderland last season following on from a difficult spell at Rangers, told ITV: "What a game. Today I think we deserved this win. One of the best games of the season so I'm very happy. It was an important moment, I think it was the best goal of my career.

"I don't believe, but this is football so you need to believe every moment. When he gave me the ball I wanted to give it to him again but I shot. I forgot the first yellow so I'm really disappointed to get the red card but the most important for me was to get the win. Everyone came to me and said I deserved it. The most important for me today was the win."
