🔥 Some 1.5 million households in the UK use heating oil, whether just for their Agas or their central heating, too – but they are paying double what they were last year

Does the word “aganomics” mean anything to you? Probably not, if you don’t know your hot plate from your hob, your four-door from your six, your dual control from your total. I have gas/electricity and I’m paying a damn sight more than double 🤷‍♂️

It’s not just affecting middle classes, I don’t have an Aga, our heating is oil and it has more than doubled. There is no gas in the village. We are three pensioners, one of 96, one of 69; and one of 66. Our heating has been off for seven weeks, reserving oil for hot water.
