It was recently announced that Ian Wright MBE will be entering the jungle. After touching down in Brisbane earlier this week the star will enter the camp on Sunday to live with and compete against a group of famous faces.
But who actually is the the 56 year old and why has he been awarded a Member of the Order of the British Empire? In that time he played an incredible 581 league games and scored 387 goals for seven different professional football clubs. He also played for England from 1991 to 1998. The sporting star has been married to Nancy Hallam since 2011, and he has two daughters with her; Lola and Roxanne. Speaking about what he would find most difficult to leave most, his beloved sport of his wife, Ian said: “I am definitely going to miss football.
