This is fascinating, as white shelled eggs are the norm in the US and Canada. You can get brown shelled too, but they're less common.
Most people don't know millions of baby male chicks are ground up alive the day they hatch in the egg industry. Isn't it your job to inform people of the things these industries try to hide from them?
Never even saw a white chook egg until I went to Canada. All brown here in Australia that I’d ever seen. Yet when you see US cooking shows, they’re white. Not really any different as far as I could tell. Wouldn’t have thought it a big news story.
