Users will be able to leave group chats silently, control who can see their online status and block screenshots on View Once messages.
It will begin rolling out the features this month, highlighting them in a global campaign, starting in the UK.The popular messaging app currently alerts all members of a group chat to someone leaving or being removed by default. Janis Wong, research associate at The Alan Turing Institute, told BBC News: "It's always nice to give users more control - users like and need to have more control."

Have to say this sounds a bit like an oxymoron. But probably it is how you define privacy. If Meta can get metadata etc. from the users that might be enough for them to define it has good privacy. But...I will still use Signal. And maybe some others in the future.
If it's privacy, probably not a good idea to 'reveal' it so publicly... 😏
Block screenshot? Again false promises and false sense of security rofl
I got yer privacy Zuck, right here *doublebird*
