Earlier today, Co-op Live bosses confirmed that the venue will not open this weekend - with The Black Keys and next week's Peter Kay's gigs having to be moved. The £365m venue, which will be the UK's largest venue of its kind, was due to open tomorrow, but the gig has now been moved to mid-May.
"To ensure that we can run all show safety, regretfully we have now had to take the decision to reschedule the planned The Black Keys and Peter Kay shows. Will my tickets still be valid? A spokesperson for Co-op Live has confirmed that tickets for The Black Keys and Peter Kay will be transferred to later dates. The Black Keys will now take place on Wednesday 15, while Peter Kay's two shows will take place on May 23 and 24. Tickets will remain valid and transferred over to the new dates.
How do I get a refund on parking for the Co-op Live arena? The Co-op Live arena has only one official car park, located next to it off Alan Turing Way. Limited parking spots on the official car park must be pre-booked online ahead of the event.
