There is discord over the health secretary’s desire for doctors to provide more face-to-face appointments

Why are Sajid Javid and GPs in England engaged in a war of words?by making clear he wants them to provide more face-to-face appointments rather than speaking to patients on the phone or by video call. Tension between GPs and Javid has grown over the past few weeks, with family doctors describing the minister as ignorant of the huge strain they are under.

I actually agree with him. It's pretty absurd to not be seeing your doctor in person.

To distroy their moral and finish off the NHS.

Not 100% sure but I suspect it might be part of the Government’s plan to deflect blame on to anyone else except the Government for their failures in dealing with the Pandemic & causing tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths.

Sajid Javid and the culture war government who deal in tackling headlines rather than tackling issues.

He's a prat. I've got health issues and I've found being able to chat with the gp over the phone just fine. It makes more sense and they are being really vile to GPs

His being à total idiot by any chance?

deflection

Him being a massive twat by any chance?

Money, spite and donations.
