Confused about the three tier system? We've got it covered! 🤓

Measures in tier one include a ban on gatherings of more than six people and a 10pm curfew for bars, pubs and restaurants across the country. Social distancing measures and face coverings on public transport and in shops will also still be enforced.

Tier three restrictions will be introduced in areas with a ‘very high’ coronavirus risk, such as Liverpool and the rest of Merseyside. Residents in those areas will be advised not to undertake non-essential travel, but there will be no official travel ban. The designation of an area as being on very high alert will be reviewed every four weeks.

Tier two currently includes Nottinghamshire, east and west Cheshire, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Leicester, the West Midlands, the North East and a small area of High Peak
