Many people will be feeling worried and alone this morning, concerned about what a Tory majority will mean for austerity; for the future of the country and for their own circumstances.
Read books
Lick a battery
Give to charity to help those less fortunate than yourself
Go to church.
Grab a big cool glass of Man-The-F-Up, realise there is so much within your control to improve your lot in life, and then hopefully others. Dismiss publications such as this which serve to feed your victim complex, then exert power over changing your situation for the better.
Of course here is when a powerful government is afraid, how long before all groups are to be registered. Even Parish coffee mornings.🙄
Over to you, Guy Fawkes...
It may take a stronger person to start a group, but when that group grows each member will feel the power of that group within them. Start groups. Meet. Talk. Discuss. Take action as necessary.
Riot
Look in the mirror. Tell yourself out loud you are a good person. Repeat. Call a life affirming friend/relative/pastor and tell the person how you are feeling. Ask for help if you need it. Reach out.
Go to a library or coffee shop and recharge there.
nothing. you have no voice. you have no choice. everyone is powerless.
I do not believe I have to make any extra effort today than normal and I probably speak for millions in the UK. For a supposed racist, xenophobic, heartless nation we have millions upon millions of amazing human beings here but good deeds don't sell newspapers, evidently.
Drinking tea, mostly
Help someone else; especially if no one else is helping!

Please could you consider including FoodBank_MYA in Liverpool, they're a youth foodbank that gives food, toiletries, clothing & emotional support to young people in foodpoverty
Imagine myself cuddled in bed between patrickwilson73 and Kimbrel46 marathoning AncientAliens....
It is individuals and individual behaviour that drives the government and policy. We only have ourselves to blame.
Well, I made a bonfire using bundles of Guardian, Sun, Daily Mail & Express newspapers, which are always lying around outside shop doorways unread. Now making an appropriate effigy and will prepare an unholy sacrifice for afters.
Stop kicking people when they're down. They lost, the other side won, we get it.
Well, I had a double celebration yesterday, the Christmas party and politics...
Stop reading the guardian would be a good start.
Light up a doobie.
Take an EU passeport and leave.
The cries of child hunger echo through the void and awake Gods anger, seeing rich kids breaking toys.
Stop blaming other people.
Avoid the news, it's better for your mental health
Stop following The Guardian which decided to give relentless negative coverage of the only viable opposition to the neoliberal/neofascist group that has now come to power. Thanks! Bye!
Hope we don't start doing it the American way for our footnote in history!
Keep Calm and Carry On - is my mantra.
My daughter felt she had bought too many presents for her baby son so she put an ad on noticeboard & gave some gifts to a mum who could not afford Xmas. Me I just keep working & tho I am powerless I don't think about it
Lots and lots of lovely cognac. A nice XO at blood heat will do the trick.
Move to Scotland! We've got the kettle on. 😄☕️

Start a food co-op. Start a repair help co-op. Turn your back on Boris' impoverished Britain. Refuse to listen to Tory bullshit. Boycott everything Murdoch says or does.
Get pissed, destroy?
1. Stop whining. 2. Join the Tories. 3. Remember 1.
Realise you are not powerless and democracy gives you the power to make your voice heard at the ballot box & shame those who would put you down & deny your voice. Then look with disgust upon those who still cannot accept reality and are fuelled by hatred & lies.
we could all sidestep the government and just get on with and help each other and all those who are in need. we could all be full time voluntary workers to make society better for everyone.
Not read the Guardian.
This is hilarious. Pull yourselves together. You are meant to be grown adults not petulant kids who didn't get there own way. Life's going to really hard on you if you don't get a grip. isyourPM
Donate clothes to your local homeless shelter, give old outgrown dog coats to local rescues, give a few items of food in the food bank bins in grocery stores try and make some time to be kind to someone who's less fortunate than yourself....🙏🌹
just breathe...:)
I hear Xanax helps...
FFS, people have been donating for years. Do you honestly think giving away a few tins is going make any of the disenfranchised 53% feel better. FoodbankFriday Raabgivesbudgetinglessons
Apply for jobs outside the UK in order to escape the horrors to come
Don’t buy the guardian
Nothing can save us now ! It’s the era of idiots now .
Stop believing that The Guardian stands with people who are forced to use food banks for a start.
Man up. Great phrase and now underused. Let's use it more. Man up!!!
I'd hide in a fridge
