Flybe’s collapse is a real test of the government’s promise to help “left behind” communities. We do until we get that radical plan if ever it comes. Edinburgh to Norwich, Newquay by train or bus, 9hrs plus. Airplane = 1hr. Do all your commentors just live in the London area by any chance?
Currently drive up to 2k miles pm for business. Would love to use a train but at double the journey time and cost, in practical terms, I cannot make life work by train. UK needs a public infrastructure upgrade ASAP. Plenty more like me
