Severn Trent is investigating a loss of pressure and water supply affecting customers in the NG17 area of Nottinghamshire. The company apologizes for the inconvenience and assures customers that they are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Severn Trent customers across a large area of Nottinghamshire are experiencing a loss of pressure and water supply to their homes as the company launches an investigation. The water firm says it is investigating the cause of the incident, which it first reported at around 1.40pm on Saturday .

The company says the issue affects the NG17 area of Nottinghamshire, which covers towns including Sutton and Kirkby, as well as outlying areas including Skegby, Teversal and Huthwaite. Severn Trent said in a text message sent to some customers: "We are really sorry if you are experiencing lower than normal water pressure, we are investigating this and will work hard to get everything back to normal as soon as possible."We will keep you updated.

"You may experience low pressure, but please be assured that over the next 24 hours, as the water continues to flow, your pressure will return to normal... Please be assured that we’ll work as fast as we can to restore your supply."
