The coronavirus crisis has led to a sharp rise in the number of seriously ill people dying at home because they are reluctant to call for an ambulance, doctors and paramedics have warned.

Article would have been better if it provided context from New York City where same is being observed with a large of deaths at home & record calls for EMS. It’s not a “fake pandemic” - the virus is killing people at home. It’s why NYC adjusted its death s this week.

That’s what happens when health system operates on fear and focus exclusively on “fighting” COVID-19 — hospitals close or are consolidated, patients can’t access their normal caregivers, the elderly or ill are locked away alone, and preventative care discontinued.

I was once in ICU with pnuemonia, VRE and sepsis in an induced coma for 2 weeks and 7 months in neurorehab and now with permanent disability. If I get CV I won't be going to the hospital, I couldn't go through all that again.
