Kyle Walker has revealed that he struggled to sleep the night before his side's crucial win over Tottenham Hotspur despite a failed attempt from Arsenal fans to disrupt Manchester City's pre-match preparations.
On Monday night news emerged that a group of Arsenal supporters had attempted to disrupt City's pre-match plans for the game against Spurs. The group known as the Ashburton Army set off some fireworks outside the Marriott Hotel in Waltham Abbey at around 2am, the hotel where they would likely have believed City's squad would be located.
"If I didn’t enjoy the pressure, I would be in the wrong job and definitely in the wrong team," Walker told Sky Sports. "These are the games you want to play in as a footballer.
