Former England captain Wayne Rooney takes the stand on day 6 of the Wagatha Christie trial - telling the court his wife Colleen has struggled to cope with the impact of proceedings. MinnieStephC4 reports.

Wayne Rooney has told the High Court that giving evidence at the libel trial brought by Rebekah Vardy against his wife Colleen was “the first time” he’d had “any understanding of what happened”.
