My dad was a pilot for the Pacific He knew why he fought. But asked BEFORE THE WAR what were WE and USA doing in South Asia? In Hong Kong and Singapore? Why he said for wealth power and empire. Invaders causing poverty and death. Remember opium. So honour but don't be righteous

When and where to watch the Red Arrows flypast for VJ DayThe VJ Day 75th anniversary celebrations on Saturday will be led by a UK-wide flypast by the Red Arrows, which will visit all four parts of the United Kingdom So down south misses out! Brilliant my daughter would have loved that and if like to pay my homage and respect too But “all over the country” doesn’t involve anywhere near our part of the country! It’s alright, it’s usually the case, we’re used to it!
