VIKINGS has made Game of Thrones look PG with a harrowing child murder scene which saw a boy hacked to death by a bandit.

While Lagertha prepared her troops for battle, it wasn't enough to stop the slaughter of Bjorn's son Hali. But his celebration didn't go unnoticed by a remaining bandit, who hurtled towards him on his horse and struck Hali with his sword despite Lagertha's best efforts to stop him.Looking up he said her: "I don't know if I did enough, I'm sorry."
