Prior to the former MEP’s interview, Kuenssberg said: “His position onpushed the Conservatives further and further and whether you love him or hate him, there’s no question that like Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage has been a very influential figure.”
Others on Twitter questioned why the GB News presenter was even on the show, with one echoing Nicolson’s thoughts and questioning why he continued to receive a platform. Somebody else questioned whether the reason Farage still has influence is because of the air-time he is given.“Why is so much air-time given to Farage”, asked another while panellist and Scottish actor Alan Cumming joked about Farage being interviewed on his own rather than taking a seat on the panel.
