BBC Countryfile viewers were left distracted as they tuned in to watch the latest instalment of the nature and farming programme, with many taking to social media to share their thoughts

Viewers of BBC Countryfile have expressed concern as popular presenter, Adam Henson, sparked worry during the latest episode. The show featured Margherita Taylor and Matt Baker visiting Trent Valley to highlight a significant project aimed at reversing industrialisation damage and encouraging wildlife back to their habitats.

Many left warm wishes for the much-loved presenter. One concerned viewer wrote: "@BBCCountryfile I missed the start of today's programme what has poor Adam done to his face?" "But the overriding reward is seeing ewes and lambs out on the fresh green grass. But this year, there's been an added worry and concern for many sheep farmers, including myself. That's because the Schmallenberg virus spread by midges has been found across British farms.
