Donald Trump has said that a summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un broke down over the issue of sanctions, after the talks in Vietnam ended early with no deal.
Trump went to Vietnam in a seriously weak position tied to Michael Cohen's hearings. The hearing should have been delayed until after Vietnam Summit. We look stupid on the world stage.
Not to take up for President Trump, but it appears to me that House Oversight Committee hearings with Michael Cohen, seriously harmed the recent Summit involving Mr. Trump and Mr. Um of North Korea. How can one cut a deal on nuclear weapons, when one party is being investigated?
