November 18, 2022 - 12:16 GMT Nichola Murphy Victoria and David Beckham have an envy-inducing property portfolio featuring seriously spectacular houses in London, the Cotswolds and Miami. Back in the '90s, however, the couple lived in a surprisingly modest home in Salford – and their former bedroom was refreshingly normal.An unearthed video, taken in 1997 two years before the couple tied the knot, reveals one of their bedrooms complete with small double bed.
The room also featured a dressing area in the corner with rails holding rows of silk shirts and a whopping 15 pairs of trainers neatly positioned underneath a radiator. Sky Sports presenter Rob McCaffery, who was given the house tour, joked:"Every woman in the country wants to wander in here now.
The property was reportedly worth £150,000, and the rest of the interior boasted a living room with two white leather sofas, blue curtains and a life-size cardboard cutout of the footballer"that his girlfriend's [Victoria's] mum had wanted", and a kitchen with white tiled floors, pale blue cabinets and checked blinds.
Things have certainly changed for the A-list couple. Their west London abode is worth a dazzling £31 million, which is a thousand times the UK average salary of £31,447.Boasting a state of the art home gym and wine cellar, the property offers a seriously luxurious base for the pair to live in with youngest children Harper, 11, Cruz, 17, and Romeo, 20. Meanwhile, eldest son Brooklyn, 23, is based in LA with his wife Nicola Peltz.
