Venice bans cruise ships from historic centre after UNESCO requestThe Italian government has banned cruise ships from entering the historic centre of Venice, with the liners now ordered to dock at the city's industrial port instead. Thats good and about time. You can feel the damage they do as they pass by. Even those river busses cause a lot of damage as cross back & forth and run along the canals. About time it should have happened thirty years ago! it will sink anyway let us enjoy it lol
