Jax Taylor expressed concern over his estranged wife Brittany Cartwright 's drinking habits ahead of their shock separation, which they announced in February.

During one argument, the 44-year-old former bartender, who now owns Jax's Studio City sports bar, told the Vanderpump Rules star, 35, that he gets 'mad' when she gets drunk and wakes him up Taylor, then, asks: 'I don't understand why you can't go out and have a couple of drinks. Why do you have to go to the point of throwing up?'

In a new interview with Us Weekly, the Vanderpump Rules alum said that her and Taylor's sex life had 'dwindled so much' in recent years and that it began to affect her self esteem. Brittany recently spoke about hitting her 'breaking point' in sexless marriage to Jax and claims they've discussed the possibility of 'seeing other people' amid their separation 'I started to notice that, and I think after I had my son, I woke up a little bit and it made me realize, like, he can’t grow up in this environment.'

Although the couple briefly separated that year, they went on to become engaged in June of 2018, and they tied the knot during a wedding ceremony that took place in the latter's home state of Kentucky the following June.
