On Friday, the 64-year-old actress told her 1.6 million Instagram followers that she was embarking on a 'social media cleanse' after experiencing feelings of exhaustion and overwhelm.
'But, I’m good,' she assured her followers. 'Honest. Taking a little social media cleanse/detox and a mental health break is a good thing and I’m grateful I’m at a place in my life where I’m aware enough to know when I’m overwhelmed and mentally/emotionally exhausted.'Before making the choice to take her social media break, Bertinelli went Instagram official with her new boyfriend, writer Mike Goodnough on April 20.

'The whole thing is nuts,' Goodnough said. 'Nonetheless, with it getting out of hand, I figured I should say something about it.'
