Video filmed in Tacoma, Washington, shows a police car apparently ploughing through a crowd of people
Tacoma Police Department said multiple vehicles and approximately 100 people were blocking an intersection when officers arrived on the scene. The group was apparently watching street racers doing "burnouts"."During the operation, a responding Tacoma police vehicle was surrounded by the crowd. People hit the body of the police vehicle and its windows as the officer was stopped in the street," police said in a statement.
"While trying to extricate himself from an unsafe position, the officer drove forward striking one individual and may have impacted others," it said.The Pierce County Force Investigation Team is investigating the incident, the statement said. The police officer has not been identified.
What would any other person do, wait to get dragged out of the car
Change the headline it’s inflammatory. They were there taking part in an illegal activity? The officer was surrounded by a mob and feared for his own safety . Report the facts , don’t mislead

3 scenarios which will likely end in someone being run over. 1. intimidating, threatening or attacking the occupants of a vehicle, or the vehicle itself. 2. blocking in a vehicle (which is a form of threat). 3. standing in the middle of a road (which is just common sense).

So a police officer fearing for his safety surrounded by a crowd attacking his car is the bad guy for trying to get out the situation. And its our thoughts are with the crowd who were commting criminal and thuggish behaviour. Hmmm
Simple really. Don't threaten a police officer for no good reason. If he's trying to drive through, let him through. Don't cry when he reacts to protect himself.
